Young Carers are children and young people who often take on practical and/or emotional caring responsibilities that would normally be expected of an adult.
Young Carers are missing out on school, their social life and other activities because of their caring role.
We want to try identify the young carers who miss out on vital services and support they are entitled to. We aim to communicate within schools, Young People's centres and groups, raising the awareness of who young carers are, what they do and what they have missed out during their childhoods as a result of their caring role.
