Carers computer in the Information and Advice Centre
We have a computer available for Carers to use if they don’t have internet access at home. Unfortunately we are not able to provide any computer training.

Selected branches offer free use of computers and access to the Internet, plus WiFi hot-spots. All provide Internet, email, MS Office, scanning, CD-Writer facilities and much more.

Information Technology for the over 60’s
Age UK Hillingdon is running an IT scheme for the over 60‟s – Learn Information Technology with an ‘IT Buddy’.
Get a taste of the internet, send emails, learn how to surf the web, meet up with old friends over the internet, shop online.
Age UK Hillingdon has teamed up with a number of secondary schools within the London Borough of Hillingdon to offer free IT courses for the over 60‟s. You can receive one-to-one tuition from a 6th form student. So although you will be part of a class, you can work at your own pace on the things that you want to learn – it doesn‟t matter what level you are.

Computer training with Cornerstone Centre
Every Tuesday at Yiewsley Cornerstone from 9:30am -12:30pm, there is I.T training for beginners and those that are intermediate. You are offered 6 sessions on learning Microsoft Office 2007, with internet and setting up emails. An inital assessment is required for the I.T.Training.
They also offer a ‘Well Seasoned’ over 50s computer training on a Friday from 13.30-15.30pm
