In a small group setting you will experience a variety of simple to learn techniques to include Tai Chi, meditation, mindfulness and gentle exercise to help manage stress, enhance sleep and maintain a better sense of wellbeing in your daily life.

|Comfort Touch sessions
Come and meet with other carers for a relaxing afternoon with a gentle comforting therapeutic touch therapy.
Ever popular with carers, Come and experience a very gentle seated massage through clothing. The volunteer therapists also offer a supportive listening ear.
There is also a social element of this treatment with plenty of conversation from other carers along with emotional support from Hillingdon Carers staff with light refreshments provided.
This service is available once a fortnight on Wednesdays at our Ruislip Manor venue
Complementary therapies are pleasant and relaxing and can help with reducing anxiety, aiding relaxation, easing aches and pains and improving sleep.
Carers are offered a course of four sessions of a treatment which last for 30 minutes at Harlington Hospice
|Introduction to using essential oils
This half day workshop will introduce you to a few essential oils and ways you may safely use them at home to enhance wellbeing.
You will learn how to give a simple hand massage and make a product to take home with you.
H4All offer a range of counselling services that can help you cope with day to day difficulties more easily, and help overcome long term problems for a better quality of life and wellbeing.
|Exercise can be fun and social
Exercise is a great way to feel better, boost your health and have fun, just drop in!
Chair Exercise with Alison involves gentle stretching exercises
Yoga with Jodi keeps you mobile and your body flexible
Light refreshments are provided after the session

|Carefree Breaks 2020
If you are an unpaid carer for at least 35 hours a week you could be eligible for a UK short break away through Carefree.
It doesn't matter if you work or not, live with the person you care for or not, or claim any benefits or not.
You can travel alone or bring a companion but not the person(s) you care for (including children) - so you'll need to make alternative care arrangements for them.
Breaks are likely to be offered again in Autumn/Winter 2020 and we're accepting referrals now!"
